Pompey’s Pillar

The striking Pillar of Pompey was built between 298 and 302 AD, measuring 82 feet (25 meters) in height. This granite column was dedicated to Emperor Diocletian and is believed to potentially hold the remains of General Pompey at its summit.

Qaitbay Citadel
